We all know that white ink heat transfer printers are the mainstay of the apparel printing industry and occupy a certain position in the apparel printing industry. White ink heat transfer printers are composed of many accessories, the main accessories are boards, nozzles, ink cartridges, ink bags, trolleys, ink tubes, grating strips, etc. Today we will learn about the function of ink cartridges and what kind of failures will occur after ink cartridges are damaged.
As the name suggests, an ink cartridge is a container for holding ink. Its shell is made of plastic, which has the function of storing ink and transporting ink. When the ink in the ink cartridge is close to running out or below the pressure line, the white ink heat transfer printer will issue a lack of ink signal. We can open the lid of the ink cartridge to check whether the ink is used up. If the ink is already below the pressure line, new ink should be added in time. If the ink is not filled in time, the printing color will fade, and the printing pattern will not be clear or ghosted.
What will happen to the ink cartridge of a white ink transfer printer if it is damaged? If we find yin and yang colors, twists, color changes of the print pattern, ghosting, etc. in the printing work, it is likely to be related to the ink cartridge. At this time, we can check whether the vent of the ink cartridge is blocked. If it is blocked, air will not be sucked in, and the external pressure is too low, so that the ink will not come out. At this time, we need to reopen the vent to make the air inlet smooth.
If the above operations cannot solve the problem, we can also check whether the ink supply tube is blocked. When checking the ink supply tube, you need to turn off the switch of the printing trolley and operate after power off. The operation method is: use a syringe and press air into the ink tube. This step is mainly to dredge the impurities in the pipeline, so that the ink can return to smooth flow and resume ink supply.
